-DANTE'S INFERNAL WALKABOUT-
When you are down and out and begin to question your choices in life that have left you in a quandry, it's best to write a poem. Not just any poem, but the longest poem in the history of, well, uhh...poetry. That's exactly what the 14th-century writer-philosopher Durante di Alighiero degli Alighieri, "Dante," decides to do. He writes Commedia, which is later called The Divine Comedy. It is divided into three sections: Purgatorio, Paradiso, and the best known of the three, Inferno—commonly called "Dante's Inferno." It is a somber piece, and so, in typical fashion, the author of Dante's Infernal Walkabout has decided to cheer it up a bit. After all, what's funnier than vicious, man-eating beasts, the feared Gates of Hell, mythical monsters, vile, horrible people suggering unbearable tortures, sadistic demons, and a meeting with Lucifer.
-THE ALIEN INVADERS-
Do Alien Beings exist? Have they been here? Are they here? Are they coming? Will the Cleveland Browns ever win a Super Bowl? These are some of the profound mysteries in life. This book presents a history of all things green and space-faring, in fact and fiction, as well as the logistical problems the Aliens would would have to overcome to get here...Yet, more significantly, what nasty problems the human race might face if they make it. Are "They" real? The author believes they are more real than the Browns' chances.
-AT WAR & PEACE WITH THE ROBOTS-
Robots, Androids, Cyborgs, and their ilk. A boon to mankind or a bane? Still open for debate, the author explores the possibilities of when man and machine are thrust together into real-life everyday scenarios. Here is where the author details and explores how the speculation may end and when the reality begins. Buy this book and you may be transported to another time, possibly to another dimension.
(And this has been my best Twilight Zone-like opening bit.)
-NIMROD AND FAMILY-
Family, friends, and foes. You can't live with them, and...well, you can't live with them. Of course, you could always have them evicted, assaulted, arrested, and even deported. Hmm, what would Nimrod do?
